Bulk Email Monitor in Exchange Transport RRS feed

  • Hi,

    We have installed Exchange 2010 Edge Transport server for Incoming email flow and directed to HUB transport without Edge sync.

    At certain instances we could see bulk emails being sent from some IPaddress which should be monitored.

    Is there any chance that we get a notification if the number of emails received from same IPaddress/EmailID reaches a specific threshold set by us.

    We don't want to use MessageRateLimit to hard stop the emails but need to have only alert. We use SCOM 2007 and agent not installed in Edge servers.

    Please advice on the workaround.
