Upgrading Windoiws ADK RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am currently on MDT 2013 Update 2 and WADK 1511.

If i upgrade to the new 1703 will it over write any scripts i have modified with in MDT? "i do understand MDT is a different install"

But just want to make sure if it will break anything? Or maybe i should go with 1607?

    Thank you

  • Sorry I misread...  I should not reply without coffee ;).  If you upgrade MDT then yes scripts get overwritten.  If it is just the ADK you have to uninstall the old version.  Reboot then install the new version.  Then update your boot images.

  • Sorry, just trying to make sure.

By upgrading WADK i will overwrite scripts in MDT\deploymentshare\scripts directory?

I have made changes to some MDT scripts.
