    what is the difference between request offerings & service offerings in service catalog in System Center 2012  Service Manager ?

    Please help me.

    with Service offerings you categorize your Request offerings. For example:

    Service Offerings: Virtual Machine Management
    Request Offerings: Create VM, Delete VM, Edit VM

  • The way this was explained to me, hope it makes sense:

    Service offering - is a group of the request offerings that you offer

    Request offering - is the list (catalog) of items that you offer - so this is the list of applications, new servers, new hardware that you may offer to a user

    I am fairly new to SCSM 2012 myself but hope this helps
