Excel files wont open when double clicked

  when clicking on excel files (xlsx) Excel opens, but not the spreadsheet.. also says some files are corrupt.. they are not!

  This only started after upgrade to win 10 from win 7. changing the DDE selection has no effect.. file open normally from withinexcel

  update.. quick repair of office fixed problem  ... big help was discovering what was available with righr click of START
