Is enable/disable offline files a global setting for the machine (all users) or a per-user setting? RRS feed

  • Question

  • When one enables/disables offline files via the Control Panel, does this affect all users of the machine, or only the user who was logged in at the time the change was made?

  • Offline files appears to cause some bad behaviors.  In particular, newer versions of files are sometimes overwritten by versions that are 1-2 weeks older.  So, I want to disable offline files.  Also, your response does not address my question.
