Lock Workstation, can't log back in RRS feed

  • Question

  • Running Win 7 Enterprise.  If I lock my workstation, either by doing a Win-L, or doing a Ctl-Alt-Del and selecting "Lock this computer", I can't get back on without rebooting.  The mouse moves around, but I never get the prompt to log back in.  However, my screensaver is set to require password, and that prompts me normally.

Any ideas what could be the problem?

BTW, I had posted this question in the Windows Answers forum, but one of the moderators suggested I post here, since technet is more applicable to a server system.
