Excel View Within Sharepoint RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello, i'm new to Sharepoint.  Is there a way to limit the view of an excel spreadsheet within sharepoint.  What I mean is, if i have say 5 different sheets within one workbook can i choose just to display 1 sheet?

  • (It's always useful to say which SharePoint you are using as there are four generations and several products per generation)

An Excel spreadsheet (unless it was converted to a SharePoint list) is simply stored in a SharePoint document library. When it is opened from there it is opened in Excel. Thus SharePoint does not control in any way just what is available when it is opened in Excel - even if the storage location was a SP doc lib.
