BSOD during games and while idle -- multiple issues RRS feed

    Getting various BSOD -- 0x8a, 0x0a, 0x50 (add the necessary zeros)


    Asus P5N-E SLI -- latest BIOS

    2GB Corsair RAM (CM2X1024-6400)

    eVGA 8800GTX - latest nVidia drivers

    Vista Home Premium - all patches/updates


    Usually when playing games the machine will lock up and BSOD after about 5-10 minutes

    Have left it on and logged in all day (idle) and returned to see the machine has rebooted with a Problem Check.  I tend to get BSODs with any loaded application.  I also get Vista services stopping (SuperFetch, Host Services, Help Services, and more) while doing anything as well as while idle.


    Out of ideas... tried new RAM and this seems to prolong the useablity, but it will BSOD after a while as well.
