I am a designer, fairly new to SharePoint, and I need to find a way to activate the flyout menus in the top Navigation. I've found a few articles that explain how to show sub-sites in the flyouts, but I believe I will need to create a custom site map? I need to be able to add specific pages to the flyouts, not sites.
I have been searching for the most straight forward solution possible to this, but I don't really understand enough about sharepoint to accomplish it. I believe I may have to change the dynamic and static display levels, create a custom sitemap, and then edit the web config file?
If you want only specific pages in navigation you can add pages to navigation by going to site settings and modify navigation links...or you can change navigation to use xml file , then you can enter your details of pages in xml file..to show navigation links from xml file follow this link : http://blah.winsmarts.com/2008-1-Implementing_Consistent_Navigation_across_Site_Collections.aspx
