  • Question

  • Hello!

When I restore the content database from our production server and receive the error

The specified SPContentDatabase Name=WSS_CONTENT_PROD Parent=SPDatabaseServiceInstance has been upgraded to a newer version of SharePoint. Please upgrade this SharePoint application server before attempting to access this object.

The local version is, the version on production is I tried to download and install the required cumulative update, the update has been successfully installed, but the version of SharePoint didn't change, it's still and I still receive above said error.

What can you recommend in this situation? Are there another ways to restore database with upgraded version?
