  • Question

  • Hi

    I have a Surface Pro 3 and I upgraded to a Surface Pro 4.

I have MS Project 2007 which I need occasionally. I need to load it on Surface Pro 4 I have a disc and a legal key.

I was previously given a link to download the software MS Project onto my SP3.

How do I do it now?

This is what I got from the technical support at Microsoft!!!

They think that the Surface Pro 4 has a disc.

    Hi Manny,

As promised, here are the steps on how to install the Microsoft Project 2007 on your Surface Pro 4:

    1. Insert the Installation Disc on your Surface

    2. Go to the File Explorer and under This PC, look for drivers and drives.

    3. Open the drive for the disc and open the folder Office 2007 project

    4. Look for Office 2007 project (has a yellow circle at the left side of it)

    5. close the power ISO page that will appear

    6. Open Office Project Professional 2007 folder

    7. click on setup.exe

    7. On the dialog box that will appear, click on OK.

    8. A new page will appear for the product Key, enter the product Key

    9. click on continue

    10. click on Accept the Terms and Agreement

    11. click on install now.

Then just close the following page that will appear.

I hope this will help. But if incase you'll need further assistance, plase call us back and provide us this reference number: 1327675090
