Outlook Anywhere Username Format RRS feed

  • Question

  • When a user goes off site with a works laptop and starts Outlook it asks for username and password. The username is usually populated with their email address and they have to change that to Domain\Username for the connection to work.

Is the away to make Outlook to populate with Domain\Username? A registry setting or VSTO addin or anything?

    Any suggestions?

  • Hi Castle,

Please confirm if the user's primary email address is the same with the User Principle Name (UPN).

If not, please change it to the same, then you can try to use the email address, password for credential authentication.
