FEP not generating email alerts RRS feed

  • I'm having an issue where Forefront will not generate emails.  I'm getting a consistent error whenever click Test in the Alerts section in the SCCM console.  The fep log just says this:

    Alerts Manager Failed

    Error Received:

    Cannot Generate SSPI Context.

    I've looked and have not found anything specific to failing alerts and the SSPI context. 

    A little background, I did have to reinstall WSUS with a new database the weekend before the last email was generated, but that was complete a couple days before this.  The FEP reporting is functional, and the definition updates are deploying.  I've checked with my exchange admin and everything seems good on the email side.

    Just Checking If you enabled Email Notifications on Target Client\Server Collection by

    Right Click---Choose Alerts and Select & enabled All Clients and Endpoint Protection Alerts ?
