Hyperlinks in Word 2003

I created a document in Word 2003 and used many Hyperlinks. Upon closing and reopening the document, all of the hyperlinks and their associated "Screen Tips" have completely disappeared. I'm wondering if there is a setting that I've inadvertently turned off to make these attributes hide. Ideas?

Hi,

Please follow these setps to check Screen Tips check box selected or cleared:

On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the View tab.
Under Show group, check the ScreenTips check box.
