Windows Firewall & Not Local Admins - Client Install Methods RRS feed

  • Question

  • If Windows Firewall are configured to block File and Print Sharing and users are not Local Administrators.  Is the only installation method Software Update-based client installation?

I know Logon Script and Manual will not work due to users not being local admin.  Thoughts... Client Push/GPO or just Software Update-based Only?

  • Use a startup script (not a login script).
