Hi,
I did one test SCOM installation where all products (SQL with reporting service, SCOM) are on the same server. Now, I have to install clean SCOM on two servers: first one for SQL-SCOM database and another one for SCOM.
What is recommended scenario for installation procedure? When starting setup.exee there is:
1. Operation Manager
1.a) Database
1.b) Management Server
1.c) User interface (Console)
2. Operation Manager Reporting
3. Audit Collection Softver
If I understood correctly, procedure is:
- operation database (1.a) on SQL server
- management server (1.b) on SCOM
- update all of this with SCOM SP1
What about Reporting and Audit Collection?
SCOM should use SQL reporting service. Do I need to install SCOM Reporting?
