33% of the top application window becomes blank in Windows 7 32 bit. RRS feed

  • Question

  • In an application written in C + +with MFC becomes the top part (about 33%) of the application window gray and will not be updated/refreshed.This happens when the user clicks a scroll bar, but do not make an active choice but rather click out of the scroll bar.
When that part of the application window is gray, one can obtain the underlying graphic by minimize and enlarge the window again.

This only happens on Windows 7 32bit. No problems with Windows7 64 bit, nor in Win XP. Have not tested in Vista.
The problem existed in Windows7 64bit before the security patch KB2660465. But after it is put on the problem is gone.
But KB2660465 does not solve the problem in Windows 7 32-bit.
    Any ideas?
Some others who have experienced similar problems?

It is not hardware related. We have done a lot of tests on different computers and with different configurations in Windows.
