Default XSL for FS4SP RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hey,

I have got a problem regarding the changes that i had done in the XSL for FAST search Center. I have mistakenly deleted some part of the code and saved it to check the changes. Unfortunately, i didn't even create it's backup and now the results are not shown in the proper way.

Please share the default XSL code for the result page...

  • Edit the core results webpart. Under Core Search Results Metadata, clear the Use Default Formatting check box, and you should be up and running with the default xslt again.

Now you can uncheck the box and try new modifications.

  • I have another query regarding user context.

when we create a user context, then how can we link that user context to a particular user profile.

also the office location that is available at the sharepoint's user profile are different from the office location present in the user context page.

for eg. office location in sharepoint is tokyo, london etc but the office location at user context is c++, 3G.... this list should be present for only the ask me about field.

what do i have to do to relate the user context with the user profile to get the search result as well as to display the best bet..(i have already filled the field for best and visual best bet..)

  • Hi Rahul

As this second request seems most unrelated to the original question / title of this thread, I suggest you start a new thread instead of tagging on to a thread which is in fact solved. :-)

    Thanks
