Vista Ultimate 64 bit edition on a server main board with 32 gb ram,2 4 core processors : can vista do this ? RRS feed

                    We are going to build a computer for rendering video.

     I would like to know if Vista Ultimate 64 bit edition can handle 2, 4 core AMD 64 bit processors and 8, 4 Gig ram cards.[32 Gig total ]

    This server main board also supports sli and cross fire and has 2 pci e card slots.

    All editions of Windows Vista can support multiple core CPUs, only Windows Vista Business, Ultimate, and Enterprise can support dual physical processors. In addition, 64-bit Ultimate supports 128+ GB of memory.

     

    So, the answer is YES. J
