Public Folder replicate by default and IIS RRS feed

  • Question

  • Question 1: i've setup public folder replication between 2 Exchange 2010 servers for redundancy of the public folders. My question is if a new public folder gets created either by a user or admin the public folder does not get enabled for replication by default and requires and admin to setup replication on that folder. Is there any way to have any newly created public folder by default replicated to a set list of exchange servers?

Question 2: When i run the best practice analyzer it gives me a warning "SSL is enabled on the IIS root directory of the Client Access Server Servername. This will break HTTP redirection from Client access servers unless it is disabled". i could disabled SSL on the root but all the sub virtual directory and also inheriting that setting so it would disable SSL on everything. what directories should have SSL and which shouldn't. should i just enable on everything but the top level?
