  • What format is compatable to open the app SnipIT with Windows 7?

  • There is no specific format to open Snipping Tool in Windows 7. You can open the app and capture screenshot with the area you select. The app does the job of capturing the selected area of the screen only, hence you can't open any image files with the app.

  • Just use the Windows 7 Snipping Tool that is installed with Windows 7.

    You don't need SnipIt.

    We first suggest you check for updates. After you installed all the updates for your Windows, then type "snipping tool" in search box and Enter. You could use this tool to capture images.
