After password change outlook repeatly asks for password. RRS feed

    Are mac's are bound to AD. AFter a password change outlook constantly asks for the password.

    We have tried everything.

    Things we tried:

    outlook 2016 for mac is the latest version.

    Numerous combinations of the username, domain\user user@domain ,etc.

    removed everything from keychain.

    Updated mac os X to latest .

     How do you fix this? it is very annoying.

    Are you only using Outlook 2016 for that email address?  You may need to go into System Preferences - Internet Accounts and enter the new password there.  And when you changed the Outlook password, were you on the Outlook site or in the Outlook 2016 Mac client?  Try changing the password on Outlook.com and see if that carries over to the Mac client.

    THe password was changed by a 3rd party system that changes it in active directory.

    We are using exchange 2010 on premises.

    They have repeatedly retype the password ,etc.

    It appears updating to the most recent version of outlook for mac that its working.
