No interface to manage Offline Folders cache? RRS feed

  • Question

  • As far as I can see there is no user interface in Windows 7 to manage the Offline Folders cache....
Don't you think there should be a way to get rid of offline files once you choose to disable the "always available offline" option? Also don't you think it would be a good idea when you enable offline folders to add a tab to specify where the files will be cached?

  • The Sync Center contains a 'Manage Offline Files' item in the tasks pane. You can do several things, like limit space to zero, or delete specific files. There is also an offline websites entry in disk cleanup (cleanmrg.exe)

OK... found it... Thanks. Still I wish Microsoft allowed to choose where the files are cached via GUI.
