Cannot add attachment in datasheet view of MOSS 2007 list RRS feed

    I am using MOSS 2007 datasheet view of a list.   Attachments are enabled and the file is an MS Word document (less than 50kb).  Popup blocker is disabled.  List is not read only.  While in datasheet view of the list, I follow the following steps:

    1.  Place the cursor in the attachment cell of a row of data.

    2.  Right click on mouse.

    3.  Select "Edit attachment from menu."

    4.  Click "Add."

    Nothing happens.  Normally, I will be able to browse a file from my computer.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!

    When you first open internet explorer, then try to perform the action, does it work?

    As a work around, you can perform the task by selecting "show in standard view". Then use the edit icon. Then use the "attach file" link.

    This method worked everytime in my tests.
