Not allowing software installation when logged in as Administrator. RRS feed

  • I am running Windows 7. I have one log in account therefore everytime I log in I log in as the administrator.  I am trying to install Advanced SystemCare free portable, when I start the exe file, I am getting a message stating that....."You need to have Administrator privileges to run Advance SystemCare."  Why am I getting this messege when I am logged in as the administrator?

    This is the first time I have receieved a messege like this, what needs to be done for me to install Advanced SystemCare?

    Will you receive this message when installing other software?

    What will happen if you right click on the exe file and choose Run as administrator.

    The prompt message comes from the UAC (User Account Control) which started from Windows Vista. Check your UAC setting if the notify me whenever I install program.

    If you don't like this prompt, you can disable it which is not suggested.
