Question

Running DPM 2010 on Server 2008 R2
I know that DPM creates this folder on the C: when you seledt to backup System Protection\System State.
The question is, do I need to backup this folder 500MB folder if I'm backing up System Protection\System State already ?

Hi,
No, if you are protecting both SystemState and C: volume for a protected system, you can deselect the c:\WindowsImagebackup folder.

To clarify, I can deselect C:\DPM_SYSTEM_STATE as long as I have System Protection\System State selected?
Thanks
