why could not I modify the word 2007 footnote? RRS feed

  • actually it not me, one coworker sent me a word 2007 document she created, the footnote shows on the bottom of the page, but in the middle of that page, I can manually move the footnote # from middle to the left by using ctrl +E, but the line on the top of the # is still shows in the middle of the page.

    how can I move the line with the #? thx.

  • In Draft View, on the References tab of the Ribbon, click Show Notes (or
    otherwise open the Footnotes pane). In the dropdown at the top of the pane,
    select Footnote separator; select the separator and justify it as you wish.
