How to allow Guest permission to Office 365 Planner? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

We want to provide Guest accounts permissions to Office 365 Planner. Would you let us know whether it is possible?

We checked that we can add Guest from Outlook group but can only see the SharePoint site and nothing more than that.

In this blog comments section, MS team says, they will have it ready for Planner soon.

    Chuck,

Yes the Planner team will implement external sharing in the future: http://fasttrack.microsoft.com/roadmap?filters=#I-38607

    so is it ready now?

    Thank you!

    Br,

    Shriram

  • Hi Shriram,

This forum focuses on some general discussion about Office 365 ProPlus which is the version of Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) that comes with many Office 365 plans.

I notice your issue is related to Office 365 Planner, it is better to ask a question in Office 365 for Admin forum for more help:

The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us. Thank you for your understanding.
