pstn conferencing and dial in conferencing RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello All,

    My environment is such that

    1. I have a SBA in each branch site with pstn gateway from audiocodes (median 1000)

    2.USers log-in to the SBA

3.USers are able to make and recieve calls.

4.I also have a datacenter with front end servera nd director server were dial-in conferencing is enabled in Tb and conferencing policies.

5.Now when my users tries to call a number out it works.

6.They put that call on hold and dial anotehr number it gets connected

7.Now they try to merge teh call and they get an error that teh conferencing service is not working etc etc

    My questions is

    1. Is this related to dial-in conferencing.

Does dial-in conferencing come into play when i do a pstn conferencing ?

If yes how will i add all this numbers to dial plan and region etc which are requirements for Dial-in conferencing to work

    Any help is appreciated.

  • You can’t merge these two calls.

Conferencing with participants joining the conference by using a public switched telephone network (PSTN) phone is a dial-in conferencing.

You need to dial the dial-in access number, then enter the conference ID and your PIN to join a dial-in conferencing.

Please check the deployment checklist for Dial-In Conferencing at
