I'm using the public beta, got to choose my pic (a goldfish) then a background (opted for the 'field') then login, says loading your desktop. The the activation box comes up?
I'm doing nothing illegal here! This download came from MS Vista page! Can't even login! There are shields against some of the options and they just seem to hang.
Can't even get to the page to phone for activation? The only fixes I found suggest safe mode and msconfig hacks but thought I'd try an answer from a genuine 'Technet techie'?
