452 4.3.1 Insufficient system resources RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are getting 452 4.3.1 Insufficient system resources when we send email from Applicatoin. Although email is relayed, it is throwing error code 452 4.3.1.

    • Exchange Server 2013
    • Back Pressure is disabled
    • Server has  more than 100 GB of free space
    • RAM utilization is between 0-65 %

Any help would be really appreciated.

  • Have you look at your throttling policies?

There are message send rate policies and many others that could also cause this, i think.

also, know that throttling policies are applied to the account that authenticates to the exchange server, not the mailbox.  if you open or access a mailbox named john@comp.any, but you authenticate with joe@comp.any, the throttling budgets apply to Joe, not to john.

also, if the authenticated user is not associated with a throttling policy, he/she would land in a default policy which has many restrictions.

  • Hello,

    1) Have you whit-listed application server IP address?

    2) Can you try to send email from application sever through command prompt or via telnet

    3) Can you cross verify Allows IP in send-connector.

Do you use Anonymous relay send emails form your application?

If so, I would suggest you try to use Telnet client to send email?

About the 4.3.2, here are all information about it:

  • Hi,

    To isolate issue,

can you put only 1 server IP or Hostname to relay email. (Use same server IP were your  email relayed successfully earlier. )

  • If so, I think you can double check whether this application's IP is contained in your connector's "Remote network settings" as Hardik_Patel_  suggestion.

If you still cannot send email from your application, I think you need to check configuration on this application.
