How to cancel client install on the workstation itself RRS feed

    I've manually pushed a sccm 2012 agent to a workstation. All software is pushed to the workstation.

    But it fails when starting to install the FEP2012 client, because of an installed hotfix KB975759. After a few minutes the station becomes unresponsive an a restart is the only solution to gain control, for a few minutes. By the way, I'm not able to uninstall this hotfix because it's no longer in the installed software list.

    My question, is there a way to stop the automatic installation of the FEP part, or the sccm agent.

    renamed the C:\windows\ccmsetup directory. This seems to work for now, as long as manual agent push is applied.

    Is the sccm agent installed succefully? Have you checked the ccmsetup.log on the client?

    Yes, the sccm agent installed succesfully. It's an old problem that already excisted with FEP2010.

    I accidently pushed the agent to this machine. It starts with the installation of the FEP part.

    It must be triggered somehow or somewhere.
