How to create conditional fields for request offerings

Question
-
I would like to create a conditional field within one of my request offerings. I have a field for 'Status' where the users choose from a simple list and then I need the following field 'End Date' to either be optional or required based on their selection within that field. For example, if they choose 'Permanent' from the 'Status' drop down, then then I need the 'End Date' to be optional. If they choose 'Contractor' from the 'Status' field, then I need the 'End Date' to be required. Also, my date fields are auto populating today's date. How do I change that to be blank and have them make the selection themselves? Any help is greatly appreciated.

this is not possible in SM portal.
the User Inputs (in Request Offering) cannot be configured/ based on each other, except the Query input which can be related on any previous input using 'Token' ( http://blogs.technet.com/b/servicemanager/archive/2011/11/08/request-offering-wizard-overview.aspx )
In short, unfortunately the SM forms are not dynamic.

Thanks for the replies. Is it not possible to stop the calendars from auto populating today's date as well?Friday, October 11, 2013 10:10 AM
