Policies is named by GUID under Sysvol folders.

If you have multiple DC on same domain, then AD replication will occurs.

If you create this GPO on one DC then check in another DC, didn't find it, then you need to check the replication, using repadmin command.

Last, please check if related AD services has been started, e.g. ADDS, DFSR,FRS and etc.

Besides, checking the related event log to see if you get more information. <eventvwr\ADDS and etc>

    Best regards,

    Andy

  • Use dcdiag and repadmin to check the health status of your DCs and AD replication status. In case of failures, you can refer to my troubleshooting guideline: http://www.ahmedmalek.com/web/fr/articles.asp?artid=23
