Printer Unidrv Documment Property Sheet crashes on Windows XP SP3 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

With WDK 7.1.0 installed on a Windows 7 (64 bits), for a print device, I build a  customized Unidrv's user interface by supplying a UI plugin. The driver package consists of a GPD file (it contains OEM feature) and a UI plugin ( as a dll) I developped.

The print driver is a user mode driver and works fine on Windows 7/64 bits (the build environment is "Windows 7 x64").

When I set up the build environment to "Windows XP Build Environments x86" and install the driver on Windows XP SP3, I get an access violation when I open the Printer "Document Property Sheet" (i.e clicking "Preferences" button, then "Advanced" button to display the advanced options).

Is there some environment variables I have to set when I choose Windows XP (x86) as OS target?

    Someone can help?
