'Apply UAC restrictions to local accounts on network logons' cannot be found in group policy

    Question

  • Hi Any idea why  'Apply UAC restrictions to local accounts on network logons' is not in my group policy?

I need to enable this setting in group policy.

    Servers are running 2012 R2.

  • Now, where to find the ADMX file...or is it like the '"MSS-legacy.admx/adml" that is included with Microsoft's Security Compliance Manager (SCM).

Of course it is not really but if you search the internet for hours you will piece together that solution too.

Seriously, where is this admx file?

  • You can find this in the SCM Windows Server 2016 Templates add-ons.

I know its a late reply but that is where I ended up getting those ADMs
