ANother one Windows 7 x64 DPC latency problem RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi!

    Previously, i ran my windows 7 x64 without any problems.

    But today i got terrible audio lags. For example, when i listening to music or talking in teamspeak AND scroling a website, i got terrible audio lags: crackling, itching.  DPC latency checker shows awful pictures: (yellow bars - when i doing nothing. Red bars - when im scrolling a webpage)

    I dig dipper and launched LatencyMon. After i scrolled few webpages, i got next result (ordered by highest execution time)

    I cant remember, what i done to casue this problem. I think i just installed latest NVidia drivers (296->301). Then i installed older drivers. Issue still persist. All drivers are latest.

    Halp =)

  • Update:

    I purged all nvidia products from my system, and installed a driver from windows update. DPC latency became low. I will try to update drivers from nvidia site to dig more.

  • Hi,

    From the screen you posted, I also assume that the Nvidia driver is the culprit.
