  • You'll need to go into Server Settings and add the URLs for each workspace to the project in the Workspace Provisioning section (or something like that, I don't have it in front of me.  It's in the bottom right section of Server Settings though.)  Try the bulk site update, although I am not sure it's quite intended for what you're doing.  Otherwise, you might have to connect the workspaces individually.

Dare I ask, out of curiousity what's your physical location - or at least time zone?

  • Jim,

Feel free to ping me via LinkedIn on the Dashboarding question.  I believe we are both West Coast US if I'm interpreting your JimEhrenb correctly.

    Thanks!

  • Agreed. I have a few questions.

1-      I migrated sites from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010 using. As part of these processes  I moved a series of project sites and placed them in the same Web App as PWA.  I have some questions about their placement.

2-      Client has a need for a specific type of timesheet. I was hoping to run it by someone and see if it is doable in Project Server

3-      I had a question on navigation and the way I have it set up.

4-      I had a question on BI dashboarding.

    Hope that helps.

    A fellow geek

  • I appreciate it, and I will do so.  I have a feeling these are the type of issues that might require someone to actually see them . I am hoping to get confirmation/guidance on web appsite collection configuration. This may be confusing.

    SharePoint 2010 is on  http://xxx/SitePages/Home.aspx
    PWA is on http://xxx/Project/default.aspx

I moved a bunch of project sites to http://xxx/Project/ProjectSites.  When I go to Project Sites, though, I see them all in the QuickLaunch but not in the Project Sites list web part. Do they need to be republished to show up in the list? And is this configuration ok?
