Where can I find a list of the INITIAL settings of the Microsoft Word Options? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Once you change some options, Word doesn't appear to provide a way to reset them to their initial state. I could do it programmatically if I could find out what the initial state of each option is.

    (I use vb.net)

  • While it is possible that someone on this forum can help you, I think you would have a better chance if you post in the Word for Developers Forum. The people there work with the Word object model all the time.

  • Hi Robert

The better place to get this information would be the IT Pro forum since, if such documentation for the installation defaults exists, it would be known to the forum that supports System Admins. So I'm going to move your question to that forum.

Barring such documentation, make a clean installation of Word then inspect the settings...
