  • Hello, 

    I keep receiving the flowing alerts from my firewall saying that a Guest account tried to access my server 817 times. Should i be concerned about this? 

    Daily review of log data has generated the following 2 security concerns. Please refer to the Daily PCI Report PDF to see all security concerns.

    If the following behavior is unexpected, investigation is highly recommended.

    An attempt to access 'myserver@server.com' was detected using the account 'guest' 817 times.

    Thanks for your question.

    This event is generated when a logon request fails. It is generated on the computer where access was attempted. The core issue for the is probably that Network and Sharing Center wants to know whether the guest account is enabled for network access. Please refer to the following link to see detailed,
