Problems of disabling Windows administrative share Share RRS feed

    Please assist to know the list of problems that can arise when we disable Administrative shares on Domain workstations (Windows 7, 8.1 and 10), most of the tech threads just say "some services may not function properly"

    can someone help to know what are the services

    After my research, there are several services may have problems when you disable Administrative shares.

     

    Such as WINS service, Terminal Services Licensing console, Services for Macintosh, Service Control Manager

    Thank you for the reply 

    1. i want to achieve confidentiality of data across the whole network but with out causing damage to other services

    2. Gone through the link and it did remove the share but the consequences are not mentioned.

    3. This came as a security breach and we need to fix it or if there is any probroplem associated then find a workaround for it

    So what i need is to know what services will be impacted and see if we can live with it.
