Can Forefront Unified Access Gateway (UAG) support Ipad? RRS feed

  • I can't find much information through Internet search. I would like to find is Forefront Unified Access Gateway (UAG) can support Ipad? If yes, what is the capabilities and limitation?

    We have a high demand here to support iPads, we are an existing Microsoft UAG customer. Ideally we would love to publish a terminal or Citrix session to the iPad via Microsoft UAG. It’s not clear from the web site if this product supports this, do you guys know if that is the case?

    I don't believe it is possible to support non-web apps using UAG and iPhone/iPads, as they require UAG components which cannot be installed on those devices.

    As an alternatice, you could use TMG and iPhone/iPad with L2TP/IPsec VPN.
