Schema Extension for Exchange 2010 sp3 fails

  • we have an issue while trying to extend the schema version for exchange server 2010 sp3, the log error throws the following:

There was an error while running 'ldifde.exe' to import the schema file 'C:\Windows\Temp\ExchangeSetup\Setup\Data\schema2.ldf'. The error code is: 8202. More details can be found in the error file: 'C:\Users\User01\AppData\Local\Temp\3\ldif.err

    The Ldif.err file says:

    Entry DN: CN=ms-Exch-Custom-Attributes,CN=Schema,CN=Configuration,DC=domain,DC=com
Add error on entry starting on line 602: No Such Attribute

The server side error is: 0x57 The parameter is incorrect.

    The extended server error is:
00000057: LdapErr: DSID-0C090DB1, comment: Error in attribute conversion operation, data 0, v2580
An error has occurred in the program

before extending the schema version, we have already created manually an extensionattribute in ADDS 2012 in Console Root\Active Directory Schema, but it failed and we disabled it, so we suspect this is the cause error for the log before.

is there anyway in modifying or deleting the attribute previously created??

    Thank you for your help.
