  • How are you doing this installation?

    The error message is complaining about the product key being missing.

    Is this possible?

  • So it seems like the moment you run the setup it fails ? Is this the complete log or you have more logs.

    So is this setup an ISO file or EXE file

  • i had genuine window 7 home basic 64 bit and have upgraded to window 10 64 bit

    What about delete all files under C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\120\Setup Bootstrap\SQLServer2014\ and try again?? And did you have any corresponding log files under C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\120\Setup Bootstrap\ ? If so, could you please upload them to a file share service and share the link here?
