Multiple BSOD's - 0x00000124 RRS feed

  • Question

  • So I have read through several forums at this point as I always hate to post to something where it's been addressed before however seeing as I'm dealing with a dreaded 0x00000124 set of BSOD's I'm kind of stuck.

I've got all the drivers in the system updated, BIOS, and I've run the hardware through memtest86, Prime95, and Furmark without it locking up for hours on end.

Here's a link to my livedrive with the original .dmp files and .txt versions:

    https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=F87E768946FE5A58&id=F87E768946FE5A58%21163#cid=F87E768946FE5A58&id=F87E768946FE5A58%21196

I'm just hoping someone has another idea on this one.

    edit:

BSOD's occured when system was just browsing the web and while gaming.

  • I'll re-flash and see how it goes. Thanks Mike.

    Update:

Flashed with new BIOS, turns out I'd updated it previously but had accidentally downloaded an older version that was still newer than my current one at the time. No notes from Intel, from what I saw, on what was fixed in the latest release but hopefully if it's going to BSOD again it will do it sooner rather than later.

  • 0x124 WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR,

From the dumps, this looks like a potential L2 cache issue, but you may
want to check to see if you are running the latest BIOS (yours is from
    2010).

  • System just crashed without a BSOD. I'll be contacting Intel support and I'll see what they say. I'll post more details when I get them. Thanks for all the help so far.
