Group Policy RDP Disconnected Timeout Limit over 5 days

    Question

  • There seems to be a 5 day limit in the Group Policy settings for 'RDP disconnected state' (Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Terminal Services\Terminal Server\Session Time Limits). I'm looking for a way to extend this to 14 days. Is this possible and if so, how?

It looks like the registry will accept more than 5 days (in milliseconds) however, I do not know if it actually works.

    Thanks!
