Project details web part in another site collection than PWA 2010: This Web Part was unable to load. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I have two web applications (SharePoint 2010):

    - http://sp-dev:8080 containing PWA 2010 (http://sp-dev:8080/pwa)

    - http://sp-dev (SharePoint OOTB Team site collection).

    I created:

    - a Microsoft Project site http://sp-dev/MyFirstProject-ProjectSite

    - a project create in http://sp-dev:8080/pwa.

After what I associated http://sp-dev/MyFirstProject-ProjectSite to the project via http://sp-dev:8080/PWA/_layouts/pwa/Admin/ManageWSS.aspx.

Because we want to see the project details inside http://sp-dev/MyFirstProject-ProjectSite, the Project details web part has been exported from http://sp-dev:8080/pwa and imported inside http://sp-dev following the links http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg314583.aspx.

I already tried http://blogs.msdn.com/b/chrisfie/archive/2007/04/26/adding-an-epm-web-part-to-another-sharepoint-site.aspx and http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/projserv2010setup/thread/d967f4ba-7e41-42ad-ac02-96053a84a912 without success.

When the web part is added to the home page of http://sp-dev/MyFirstProject-ProjectSite, the following error is displayed:
