Will upgrading exchange 2013 - 2016 effect Lync? RRS feed

  • We have a primary and a fail-over exchange in a DAG. There both on exchange 2013, and we are looking to upgrade them to 2016. We have Skype for Business server 2015. We also have an edge server to have lync working externally to others outside our network set up which we use.  If upgrading exchange to 2016 would this require us to change anything with Lync?

    You might want to revisit your Exchange <--> SfB integration afterwards, but otherwise I would expect everything to continue to work following your upgrade.   2013 to 2016 is more like a service pack.
