Global deployment with many sites. No Director. Of course only one dial in url.
Let's say https://dialin.domain.com
I see with a http sniffer that when I try to login with a user the browser is really being redirected to the external URL of the Front End that is homing the user. (Independent of AD Domain and SIP Domain)
If I try to login with another user that is homed in another site and another pool the browser will be redirected to a different external URL, published by the Reverse Proxy.
Is this the expected behaviour? I know that is maybe an obvious question but could not find any documentation that confirms this.
The Meeting URL would be redirect, depending on where the user's pool is located.
However, the dial in URL works a little differently. While the dialin.domain.com URL is pointing to your Lync first Pool, all pools user will use the that pool dial in page. When the user is on a second pool and logs into the first pool dial in page, no
redirection will occur. For details, you can refer to Simple URLs in migration scenario.
