  • You have to create a contact for second/external domain2 email address and then set forwarder on domain1 mailbox.

Here is the guide I quickly searched... http://www.techieshelp.com/exchange-2013-forward-email-to-external-contact/

  • I would suggest to create a rule in ECP under "Mailflow"

  • yeah but, you have to specify the people you want to recieve the mail, you cant create, for example, redirect to user@domain2.com being "user" the alias of that contact

Well actually if you are using ForwardingSMTPAddress parameter to set the forwarding then you can just give smtp/email address...

    For example:

    Set-Mailbox -Identity "MailboxNameHere" -DeliverToMailboxAndForward $true -ForwardingSMTPAddress ExternalEmail@here.com
